are two Pubs (The Chequers and The Masons Arms) within walking
distance and several
historic villages such as
Minster Lovell and
Bampton
and even a Local Vineyard are withing
easy cycling distance of The Priory. |

Bourton on the water, Bibury, Woodstock and
Blenheim
Palace, birthplace and home of Sir
Winston Churchill and seat of the Duke of Marlborough, are all
within a 20 minute drive. |

Cotswold Wildlife Park, several good Golf Courses, Burford,
Lechlade on the River Thames,
Fairford and its pleasure lakes, and Stow on the Wold, are all very
close by.

London, Shakespeare’s Stratford upon Avon, and Warwick Castle,
Stonehenge, Salisbury, and
Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bath and Bristol are all within
approximately one hours drive. |
It is eminently possible to visit the theatre in Oxford, Stratford
upon Avon, and even London, and be home in the Priory and in the beautiful Cotswolds an hour later.
